📜 Honoring the Past While Planning the Future
The farm’s story began decades ago with Willard Bennett, a lifelong resident who, along with his wife Marjorie, raised sheep on the land until his passing in 1991. Marjorie continued to care for the farm until her own passing in 2023 at age 97. Their dedication to the land is part of Powell’s identity, and the City intends to preserve that history as it builds toward the future.
