This year brings a new experience for families wishing to celebrate the Easter season in style.

The City of Delaware Easter Egg Hunt will join the YMCA Family Day for a wonderful morning of combined fun. The fun takes place on Saturday, April 20.

This new event replaces the former Healthy Kids Day event, and will feature two free Easter Egg Hunts sponsored by the City at 9:30 AM and 11 AM at Veterans Park, across from the Y. This is for ages one through nine only, and children are asked to bring their own Easter baskets.

During these hours, there will also be an Easter bunny, inflatables, and inside activities for families at the YMCA.

This is a free event for the entire community and has included activities and organizations such as the Kid Fit Testing, Bike Rodeo, Touch-A-Truck, American Red Cross, Demonstrations, Preservation Parks, Delaware County District Library and many other groups and organizations.

The Community Center YMCA is located at 1121 South Houk Road in Delaware.
