A vote of confidence from a national watchdog is landing close to home for Delaware County residents who rely on in-home support as they age.
SourcePoint has once again earned the highest level of accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for its in-home care program. The designation, a three-year Accreditation of Case Management for Long-term Services and Supports, runs through December 2028 and marks the second time the organization has received NCQA’s top distinction.
Why This Accreditation Matters
NCQA’s Case Management Accreditation for LTSS is not ceremonial. It is a detailed, evidence-based review of how well a program serves people living in community settings rather than institutions. Programs are evaluated on how effectively they coordinate care, respect individual choice, protect rights, and continuously measure and improve quality.

In plain terms, it asks whether a system actually works for real people navigating aging, health changes, and daily says at home. For SourcePoint, the answer was again yes.
Supporting Aging at Home in Delaware County
SourcePoint’s in-home care program is designed for Delaware County adults age 55 and older who want to remain in their own homes safely and independently. The services are practical and often invisible when they work well: emergency response systems, home-delivered meals, medical transportation, personal care, and other supports tailored to each person’s situation.
Oversight comes from licensed social workers and counselors who develop and monitor individualized care plans. That structure matters. NCQA places heavy emphasis on person-centered planning and care transitions, areas where gaps can quickly lead to crises if they are not handled carefully.
A Team-Driven Outcome
CEO Fara Waugh points to the people behind the designation rather than the plaque itself.
“I am exceptionally proud of the work our team does to support people as they age in our community,” Waugh said. “Our in-home care staff are dedicated to thoroughly assessing each person’s unique needs and coordinating services that help them live well and remain safely at home.”
That emphasis aligns closely with NCQA’s standards, which look at staffing, training, and how consistently care plans are followed and updated.
More Than a One-Time Achievement
The accreditation process also pushes organizations to keep improving. NCQA evaluates ongoing measurement, quality improvement efforts, and how well programs protect individuals’ rights and responsibilities.
For SourcePoint, earning the designation a second time suggests that quality is being maintained, not just achieved once and left behind.
In a county where the aging population continues to grow, that consistency matters. For many residents, the ability to stay at home is not just a preference but a defining part of their independence. This accreditation signals that SourcePoint’s in-home care program remains a reliable part of making that possible.
