The Delaware County community is one where wonderful things can still happen in the middle of uncertainty and concern.

One example of this is the arrival of a website and companion Facebook page that seeks to make a difference for Delaware’s wonderful collection of restaurants, brew houses, and eateries. As each has been forced to end in-person dining, many are offering take out and delivery food; Support Delaware has collected that information and provides it in an easy-to-use online interface.

On its website, Support Delaware states as follows:

“Now, more than ever, Delaware’s small businesses need our help. Below, you’ll find a list of local restaurants with hours and carryout info during the COVID-19 shutdown. Please, please help support our small businesses.

Call ahead to make sure this information is up to date or to place an order; I will do my best to keep it current. To check restaurant availability on the various delivery platforms, tap or click on the photos above.”

Delivery searches can also be accessed via the website. Enter a zip code into the search field on each for delivery options in Delaware — or any other Delaware County community.

Support Local can be found at this location online, and here on Facebook.
