This year has been a unique one at Polaris Fashion Place Mall as existing retailers and restaurants have made business adjustments relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

And, while some stores have been forced to close their doors, others have been arriving, many of them representing Central Ohio entrepreneurs making an initial foray into the world of bricks-and-mortar retailing.

One such operation is Stems and Stones, which will be opening its very first physical store location.

The operation will offer unique plant decor though online houseplant subscription service. Classes will be available to learn plant design, macrame braiding, and other topics.

As shared on the Stems and Stones website, “Our carefully curated plant subscriptions provide something beautiful to look forward to every month with a special gift and reminder to “Take care of yourself” and to stay grounded. Our plants are sourced from phenomenal and highly reputable nurseries from Florida & California, and our marketplace items come from other established and budding small businesses from around the globe. Check out our Plant Gang Subscription and start your self-care +plant journey today!”

The new store will be located on the mall’s lower level, next to J. Jill.
